Vietnamese coriander (Persicaria odorata) belongs to Poligonaceas plants, grows wild in Asia in the following countries: Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam.

In these countries it is mainly used as a speciality in the kitchen, the flavor is coriander (less expensive) and slightly pungent. It is used for soups, salads, chicken, fish and veal.

Cultivation: Plants are very easy to cultivate, but not very resistant, although they can be cultivated indoors in winter. The Persicaria odorata needs a lot of irrigation and also tolerates excess water without any problems.
