Wild mallow seeds (Malva silvestris)

The wild mallow is one of the most used medicinal plants since ancient times. From the fruit a pulp is obtained, and an infusion of the leaves and flowers is beneficial for t mucous and colds as well as oral and pharyngeal inflammation.

The flowering period is from April to September. The flowers are edible and refine any type of salad and the dried flowers can add color to tea and rice.
