Bugle, blue bugle (Ajuga reptans)

The creeping Ajuga is a perennial, soil-covering plant that favors a semi-shady place in the garden. In favorable conditions the plant spreads quickly due to its long spurs.

As a medicinal plant (dried flower shoots) Ajuga Reptans is used for rheumatism, gastric ulcers, hemorrhoids and angina, in folk medicine also fiber-lowering properties are described.
