This plant 10 to 50 cm in height is able to survive in resistant salty environments. It grows in the Mediterranean, Atlantic and in the Canary and Balearic Islands, even on the coast of the Black Sea. It is usually found in cliffs areas and crevices in the rocks. It flowers from July to October. Its flowers are yellow with five petals arranged umbeliforme way.
