Columbine, Pink / White Yarrow (Aquilegia spec.)

There are many different types of Aquilegia. The one we which we offer has a particularly large, white and pink flower. The most typical Aquilegia leaves have a bluish green color.

In the Middle Ages it was used as a medicinal plant for impotence, liver and spleen and also against jaundice. Because of its toxic contents one must be extremely prudent in its use as a medicinal plant.
