Tobacco “Burley” seeds (Nicotiana tabacum)

Burley Tobacco is a natural mutation of Virginian tobacco and although it is less resistant to pests than Virginian it is highly esteemed for its special flavor that is a cross between chocolate and coconut. Obviously it is also liked for its huge and beautiful leaves. A tip for planting is to mix the seeds with triple amount of fine sand. To dry Burley tobacco is not hung leaf by leaf like other tobacco but the whole plant is harvested and hung up to dry and ferment, this process takes about two months.
