Mallow seeds of various colors (Alcea rosea Althea)

This plant belongs to the mallow family and reaches up to 2.5 m tall. The flowering period is from June to October, the flowers are visited by bees.

Mallow can be biannual when sown early in the year (March), and beautiful flowers can be got in the first year. Mallows also have a very long history as a medicinal plant (in China 5000 years ) and are traditionally planted in the gardens of the farm cottages. It is suitable as plant background area where we have aromatics or flowers.
