These onions are perennial herbaceous plants with hollow stems ( fistulosum ). This onion doesn't produce bulbs but in the fall can be easily separated for vegetative propagation.

An excellent vegetable that also has a decorative character. Probably this onion came to our markets from China and Japan and is present in many wok dishes and soups like miso soup or Teriyaki .

This bunching onion branch is very popular in Europe, in salads it tastes good and has a less strong flavor than other varieties .
