La Jiao produces dark red, fleshy and very large fruits (about 20 cm).
This chilli comes from China and is often used there to prepare a hot chilli paste with a little vinegar, garlic and salt. This paste can be kept in the refrigerator for a few weeks.
Tip: removing the seeds reduces the spiciness and improves the taste.
Tip2: If the paste is still too spicy, you can also mix in a sweet pepper.
