Description:
Exotic, fast-growing climbing plant from South America with striking, purple-patterned flowers resembling small masks or ghosts. Ideal for trellises, pergolas, or conservatories.

Sowing:

  • Pre-culture from February to May

  • Sow seeds 1 cm deep in seed compost

  • Germination temperature: 22–25 °C

  • Germination time: approx. 2–4 weeks

  • Light and consistent moisture promote germination

Location:
Warm, bright, semi-shaded, and sheltered from wind. Prefers humus-rich, well-drained soil and regular watering (avoid waterlogging).

Care:
Provide strong support for climbing. Fertilize regularly during the growing season. Overwinter frost-free (10–15 °C).
