Siberian Home Chili Seeds (Capsicum annuum)

As the name suggest this type of hot pepper is very suitable for growing indoors. It grows very quickly and after 3 months you can harvest pretty spicy fruit.
This chili has conical fruit that grow vertically upwards and reach a length of  2-3 cm.
This pepper is not very fleshy for drying. A good choice if you do not have a balcony or terrace.

Aji Escabeche, Aji amarillo seeds (Capsicum baccatum)

A great chilli variety with large  orange fruits (up to about 15cm) and a pleasant sharpness.

The fruits ripen from green to orange. They are appropiate, due to the size and fruity taste, for stuffed chilli.

In Peru, however, these are also used as dried or pickled and are the main ingredient of many sauces and recipes.

A very simple recipe - Fill chilli with cheese (I love Gorgonzola...) wrap with bacon and put some olive oil in the oven.

This chili has not so much in common with the real jalapenos, which belong to Capsicum annuum, except for a similar sharpness.

Charapita yellow Chili Seeds (Capsicum chinense)

These little wild chilis from northern Peru are among the most expensive spices in the world. The chillies are very spicy and have a fruity, lemon-like touch in addition to the typical "Capsicum chinense" taste.

The Aji Charapita plants require quite high temperatures and a longer period of time to reach fruit ripening. Temporary prebreeding (indoor) is therefore very useful in cooler regions.

Biquinho seeds, Drop Chili (Capsicum chinense)

Syn: Chupetinha, Drop Chili

A  Capiscum chinese variety which has the typical aroma but lacks sharpness.
The variety Biquinho comes originally from Brazil and is now not only a valued specialty there, we were very surprised to find this variety as pickled chilli under the name "Pimiento Lacrima" at supermarket Lidl (Spain).
The plants reach a height of approx. 50-70 cm and are really productive and extremely decorative.
Use in the kitchen: Pickled, in soups, in jams and sauces and also as a garnish pizza and pasta dishes.

Carolina Reaper Seeds (Capsicum chinense)

Carolina Reaper has been the world's hottest chilli since 2013, according to the Guinness Book of Records. At the peak, 2.2 million Scoville could be measured. The Trinidad moruga scorpion lost the title as sharpness world champion.
Other attempts to beat the world champion have so far failed (2019).

Carolina Reaper is an American breeding variety made from meherer Capsicum chinense varieties, including a Naga strain from Pakistan as well as some Caribbean varieties.

Self-experiments with friends, have confirmed the extreme sharpness.

Sweet pepper "Corazon" seeds (Capsicum annuum)

A non-spicy variety of peppers with rather small plants. The fruits are about the size of a tangerine and ripen from green to red. The heart-shaped peppers are suited for filling and prepare in the oven and can be offered as a beautiful and meaningful "antipasto" for your loved ones.

These yellow chilis are  probably the most spicy in Peru. They are probably hotter than red habaneros. These peppers are specially popular in Peruvian cuisine for its combination of fruity flavor (citrus) and sharp hot taste.
