The variety we offer is Rosso di Chioggia, Palla Rossa. This variety is the most robust of all Italian radicchio and therefore is also the right variety to grow in central and northern Europe. Intybin is the substance responsible for the bitter taste that has but also what makes it such a healthy vegetable.
