Perlite is a natural volcanic mineral. Gardening companies use it for crops or multiplication of cuttings. Perlite keeps the moisture constant and prevents waterlogging. The roots feed on oxygen thanks to the high porosity of the perlite which in the long term dissolves and contributes to improving the quality of the substrate. The perlite can be used pure or by mixing it with the culture substrates. Especially in cases of slow germination plants excellent results are obtained with this substrate free of chemical substances.
